DUI Amended to Reckless Driving; CDL Preserved! January 29th, 2026
Our client, a commercial driver, was facing a DUI charge and a refusal violation that would have resulted in a mandatory one-year loss of his CDL—and likely his job. Through strategic negotiation, we successfully had the DUI amended to reckless driving and filed for one year. In addition, the refusal charge was dismissed outright.
